Andreas Wespi brings more than 35 years of expertise within the elevator industry. His career with Schindler started in the position of Design Engineer for electric components. The dynamic role included heading teams within R&D and spearheading the codes and standards, quality, and processes.  Currently Andreas works as the Group Code Officer, VP with responsibilities for the strategic and operative management of regulations, codes and standards within the Schindler Group for Elevators and Escalators. Over the last few years, a unique opportunity presented Andreas with the chance to grow a dedicated organization focussing on the Codes and Standards Management around the globe. Further to his success, Andreas was able to successfully enlarge his international network within and outside of Schindler. Considering his recognised technical background and extensive experience within the elevator industry, Andreas has the broad perspective and understands the needs of the industry.
