Our Members are cordially invited to a first industry event co-organized by ELA (European Lift Association) and CEA (China Elevator Association), with the objective to bring together the main global stakeholders, to keep abreast of latest developments and to exchange and align on regulatory topics of interest.
ELA and CEA having regard to the importance of developing better and more frequent information exchange on topics of relevance, intend to sign a Memorandum of Understanding based on specific issues especially related to energy and environment, standardization (on the basis of ISO Codes), safety for All and accessibility. The event will have the form of a Worldwide Elevator Federation where the parties will endeavor to meet periodically trying (whenever possible) to reach common positions to safeguard and represent the interests of the lift and escalator industry worldwide.
